Overview 

Our client is seeking a Junior Data Entry Officer to support their procurement team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and eager to develop their career in business support. The successful candidate will gain valuable exposure to procurement operations while working within a collaborative and well-established organisation.

About the role 

  • Entering and updating procurement-related data including purchase orders, pricing, vendor info, and product details
  • Helping ensure records and documents are accurate, complete, and easy to access
  • Assisting with invoice checks and verifying pricing, terms, and delivery timelines
  • Supporting the procurement team with contracts, reports, and general admin tasks
  • Working closely with finance and other teams to keep things running smoothly
  • Communicating with vendors as needed to track orders or clarify details

About you 

  • Previous experience in data entry, admin, or procurement support 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
  • Comfortable working across multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Clear communication skills and a helpful, team-focused mindset
  • Willingness to learn and ask questions when unsure
  • Familiarity with systems like SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow, or Microsoft D365
