About the Role

ByteFolio is seeking a motivated Web Developer Intern to support the design, development, and maintenance of responsive, modern websites and web applications. This is an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience by working on actual client projects utilizing cutting-edge technologies, including the MERN stack, Next.js, and Python.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks
  • Build full-stack applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) and Next.js
  • Integrate APIs and handle server-side logic using Node.js or Python
  • Translate UI/UX designs into fully functional front-end pages
  • Collaborate with designers and developers to deliver high-quality products
  • Troubleshoot bugs, improve performance, and stay updated with industry trends

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and MongoDB
  • Exposure to Python for backend scripting or web development is a plus
  • Understanding of CMS platforms like Webflow or WordPress is beneficial
  • Good eye for design and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • A portfolio, GitHub profile, or project links demonstrating previous work is preferred
