Job Title :Design Manger 

Location : Remote (Bangalore)

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a Design Manager to lead product design initiatives across key business areas in a fast-paced B2C environment. This role requires a strong balance of hands-on design ability, team leadership, and product collaboration. You’ll be responsible for driving design vision, mentoring designers, and partnering closely with product and engineering to deliver high-quality, user-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a small team of product designers working across multiple charters.
  • Drive the design strategy and ensure consistent design execution across initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to shape roadmap priorities.
  • Provide design direction, critique, and feedback to raise the overall quality of work.
  • Enable and guide designers through user research, data synthesis, and prototyping.
  • Ensure alignment with design systems and drive design efficiency and reusability.
  • Foster a high-performance design culture that prioritizes craft, collaboration, and user empathy.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 6-8 years of product design experience, with 1–2 years in a design leadership role.
  • Experience in consumer-tech (B2C) companies with a strong product mindset.
  • Proven ability to guide and grow design teams while still being hands-on when needed.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a combination of strategic thinking, UX depth, and visual excellence.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and influencing product direction with stakeholders.

Non-Negotiables:

  • Experience leading product designers or cross-functional design pods.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a track record of stakeholder alignment.

Preferred Background:

  • Exposure to high-scale platforms in commerce, lifestyle, or consumer apps.
  • Experience managing design teams within matrixed orgs.
