ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a proactive Design & Project Management Associate to lead and execute our evolving needs of research, communication and internal design projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation for traditional crafts, a love for design , curiosity to learn new things everyday and excitement to be part of a brand with Indian roots, taking Indian craft to the global design stage.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Design Research
The candidate should be well-versed and able to carry out primary and secondary research to help us make strategic business and design decisions. Research can include but is not limited to – design trends, identifying luxury design fairs globally, opportunities to showcase our products, research on crafts, designers to collaborate with, etc.

Social Media Management
The candidate would work closely with our Brand Strategy Head and PR/ Communications partners to ensure our brand communication is happening smoothly and cohesively. This may include but is not limited to-
Creating and executing a social media calendar
Coordinating with graphic designer(s) and video editor(s) to have the content ready
Scheduling and posting the content as required

Content Creation & Execution
Planning the content strategy along with the Brand Strategy Head and executing the same
Shooting videos, reels and overseeing production and video shoots

Project Management
Manage, execute and coordinate internal design projects including but not limited to exhibition design, communication design — working alongside designers, media team, PR team and external consultants.

Admin & Miscellaneous
The candidate would not only be expected to take an initiative in building visibility for the brand, but also play a supporting role in maintaining background processes and systems. This may include, but is not limited to maintaining relationships with vendors, partners and consultants.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION
Mandatory for the role
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Communication Design, Fine Arts, Business Management, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably within the product design/ design field or crafts space
Great organisation, coordination and project management skills
Should love research and be led by curiosity
Have a passion for design and/ or crafts
The ability to work well with a team and across disciplines
Ability to research, collate and synthesise information and provide valuable insights to the team
Should be proactive, responsible, resourceful and genuinely excited about the design space
Willingness to jump in, contribute across tasks, be involved in the growth of the studio – beyond a fixed role

Good-to-have
Relevant work experience in product design is a bonus
Design / Art Gallery background / start-up experience would be an added advantage
Experience in luxury industry
