Financial Analyst
Job Description
Our client, a real-estate focused start-up is looking for a motivated individual to join their team.
The Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the investment and asset management activities of the fund.
Experience: 3-5 years in real estate, AIF, private equity, investment banking, or related fields
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Modelling and Valuation
– Build detailed financial models to assess project feasibility and returns (IRR, NPV, etc.).
– Perform valuation of real estate assets and portfolios based on established methodologies.
– Prepare cash flow projections and investment performance metrics.
2. Due Diligence
– Collaborate with legal, technical, and compliance teams for thorough due diligence of projects and developers.
– Assess land titles, regulatory approvals, and project risks.
3. Portfolio Monitoring
– Monitor the performance of ongoing investments and ensure compliance with fund objectives.
– Analyse project progress reports, budgets, and timelines to identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
4. Reporting and Documentation
– Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and reports for the Investment Committee.
– Support periodic reporting to investors, including fund performance updates.
5. Stakeholder Coordination
– Liaise with developers, financial institutions, legal advisors, and other stakeholders to facilitate investments.
– Assist in investor relations by addressing queries and preparing communication materials.
Educational Background:
– MBA / CA / CFA (preferred).
