Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior WordPress Developer with around 2 years of hands-on experience, particularly in building and customizing websites using WordPress, WooCommerce, and Elementor. Experience with Shopify is a plus. The ideal candidate is passionate about clean code, pixel-perfect designs, and delivering seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and customize WordPress websites using Elementor and other page builders.
  • Set up and configure WooCommerce stores, including product setup, payment gateways, and shipping configurations.
  • Maintain and update existing WordPress websites, plugins, and themes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WordPress and WooCommerce.
  • Implement responsive designs to ensure cross-device and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Collaborate with designers and senior developers to translate designs and requirements into functional websites.
  • Optimize website performance and follow SEO best practices.
  • Optionally, work on Shopify store development and customization if required.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience in WordPress development.
  • Proficiency with WooCommerce setup, configuration, and customization.
  • Experience working with Elementor or similar page builders.
  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP basics.
  • Familiarity with WordPress themes and plugin development/customization.
  • Basic understanding of website performance optimization and security best practices.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git is a plus.
  • Exposure to Shopify development is a bonus but not mandatory.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
