Job Title
AM/DM – Business Intelligence / Data Analyst (MIS)
JOB PURPOSE
The role holder will work as part of the Business Intelligence & Operations team, under the leadership of the Head – Business Intelligence;
- Management reporting with strong analytical skills.
- Actively shape and strengthen the existing business performance and Governance processes across the organization.
- Part of executing the Business Intelligence agenda for the company.
- Program & manage important central performance initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of all operational aspects to evaluate progress and map out future goals and plans.
- Independently own and operate select BI agenda (e.g. Exceptional reporting, Critical Monthly Reports, automation etc.), hypothesis testing / qualitative analysis, proactively highlighting issues etc.
- Regularly coordinate with all relevant functional and Unit teams for timely and high quality and turnaround of review documents.
- Prepare customized analysis and documents on business performance, as directed by Head – Business Intelligence and MHC leadership, on a case-to-case basis.
(i) Execute the BI agenda.
(ii) Set up the execution machinery and rhythm.
(iii) Partner with teams executing on the ground and/or monitor execution.
- Collaborate with IT and business units to advance the company’s reporting and analytics capabilities and improve accuracy of data.
- Develop and operationalize a high-quality Market Intelligence system to cater to all MHC needs. This will include actively gathering, storing, analysing and reporting of external data/trends pertaining to Industry developments, competition, regulations etc.
Technical Skills
- Program management – Good Organization and Planning Skills.
- Excellent strategic ability and analytical skills
- Proven entrepreneurial mind-set.
- Strong Presentation skills – Proficient with Power points, Excels and word
- Any BI DB skill will be an add-on
- Accuracy in Data & its representation
- Financial impact by the decision enabling DBs & PPTs
- Atleast set 2 Innovations in Dash-boarding & presentation from BI standpoint.
Experience
- 5 to 10 years of experience, ideally from business analysis function, within corporate sector.
- Experience within Healthcare sector is preferable but not necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
Business / Economic / Engineering Graduate from a Category-A Institution and with exceptional professional track record
